PURPOSE:To arrange so that an electric contact point may not be fouled or corroded by ink dripping down from an orifice by positioning an electric contact point above an opening for liquid injection and the orifice. CONSTITUTION:An electric contact point 20 for a recording head 18 is provided above an orifice 22 and is caused to contact with an electric contact point 38 on the carriage side when an upright plate 34 of a carriage 14 and an electric wiring substrate 26 are fitted together. The electric contact point 38 is provided above an opening for liquid injection 36. Thus it is possible to prevent the electric contact point from being fouled or corroded by ink dripping down from the orifice. |
