PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition resistant to heat, ozone and sour gasoline, from, as essential components, (meth)acrylic acid cyano-substituted alkyl ester, alkyl acrylate, ethylenic unsaturated monomer and crosslinkable monomer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating a copolymer rubber prepared from (A) 20-69.5 (pref. 30-69.5)wt% of (meth)acrylic acid cyano-substituted alkyl ester of formula I (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is alkylene) (e.g. 2-cyanoethyl acrulate), (B) 30-79.5wt% of alkyl acrylate of formula II (R3 is 1-18C alkyl) (e.g. ethyl acrylate), (C) 0-10wt% of ethylenic unsaturated monomer (e.g. methyl methacrylate) and (D) 0.5-20 (pref. 1-15)wt% of crosslinkable monomer (e.g. epoxy group-contg. monomer) with (E) crosslinking agent followed by curing.
