Cake of soap with deodorizing action which in addition to the usual additives contains as essential components, referred to 100 parts by weight of base soap, (a) 0.1 to 1 part by weight, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 part by weight, 3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide (TCC), (b) 1 to 4 parts by weight of an alkyl phenol polyglycol ether of the general formula <IMAGE> wherein R is an alkyl radical with 6 to 12 carbon atoms and n stands for one of the numbers 10 to 16, and (c) 0.05 to 1 part by weight wool wax alcohol.
