TREATMENT OF SUSPENSION WATER OF FINE GRANULE

PURPOSE:To separate transparent water of 80% total amount of liquid by adding lime or milk of lime to suspension water, thereafter controlling the pH with sulfuric acid and performing centrifugal separation. CONSTITUTION:After adding a small quantity of lime powder or milk of lime to bentonite-contg. water wherein extremely stable suspension liquid is formed and mixing the mixture uniformly, the pH is regulated to 6-8 by using dilute sulfuric acid. The lime or milk of lime to be added are 0.1-1% per waste water generally. The transparent water of 80% total amount of liquid can be separated by filtering the treated water with a centrifugal separator.
