The pistol-type liq. spray nozzle has a nozzle casing on which a handle hinges, regulating a control valve inside. The handle(21) and the casing (10) have male and female portions working together, the male portion (26) snapping into engagement with the female one (25) so as to form a hinge. Any hinging movement of the handle when regulating the liq. flow has the tendency to hold the portions together. The handle can hinge at the middle, being coupled at one end to the valve (18) and forming a gri (21b) for the hand at the other.
