FLAME-RETARDANT POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:The titled compsn. excellent in stability of mechanical and electrical characteristics to retention and heat, prepd. by incorporating a halogenated phenol polycondensate-base flame retardant and a polyepoxy compd. in Sb2O3- contg. arom. polyester. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. prepd. by incorporating (A) 1-20pts.wt. Sb2O3, (B) 3-50pts.wt. flame retardant prepd. by hindering the terminal OH group of a halogenated phenol polycondensate such as a tribromophenol polycondensate of a degree of polymn. of 3-100 with a metal compd. such as AlBr3 or an org. compd. such as dibromoethylene and (C) 0.1-20pts.wt. polyepoxy compd. such as polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether in 100pts.wt. arom. polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate. The incorporation of both of the B and C components remarkably improves the compsn. in stability of mechanical and electrical characteristics to retention and heat.
