PURPOSE:To prepare the titled foam useful as a cushioning material, a heat insulating material, etc., by injecting a mixture of a foamed olefin resin, a specified liquid resin, and a specified curing agent into a mold, etc. to be hardened. CONSTITUTION:100pts.vol. foamed olefin resin (A) (e.g. PE) is ground in a grinding mill 11 to fine granules or beads, which are fed into a mixer 30. A mixture of 5-25pts.vol. liquid resin (B) having a molecular weight of 800-10,000, containing terminal and/or intramolecular functional groups (e.g. a bisphenol type epoxy resin) with a curing agent (C) reactive with the functional groups of component B (e.g. polyoxypropylenediamine), prepared in a mixer 20, is fed into the mixer 30 and mixed with component A therein. Then this mixture is introduced into a pressure pump 40 by way of a hopper 41, and is injected through an injection nozzle 42 into a mold, etc. to be hardened.
