While the clearance CL against the work surface 29a is read out from the program to calculate the maximum projection of tool in the direction C and of ATC arm 7 T1, T2max, Amax under tool replacement thus to obtain the effective clearance EC from the maximum effective projection MAX at the machine side and if EC will exceed over 50, there is no interference with the work 29 thus to produce a simplified tool replacement command RTC to the machine control section.
