PURPOSE:To perform adequate coloring of monochromatic picture, on which only incomplete coloring is performed by an ordinary method, by utilizing the knowledge with regard to the object. CONSTITUTION:An input device 1 inputs the data such as the physical features of a patient, position data that is photographed by a CT device and the like. On a data base 2, what colors the internal organs of a human body have is displayed. In a data base 3, the data such as three-dimensional positional relationship among the various internal organs, knowledge of the structure of the human body, anatomical charts and the like are stored. A CPU4 performs inference based on the knowledge included in various data bases, classifies the CT picture into the various internal organs and forms RGB pictures. A picture analyzing system 5 supports the CPU when the CPU divides the region, and comprises experts 6, which perform picture processing such as linear differentiation and ridge-line tracking. The coloring of the monochromatic picture can be adequately performed by utilizing the knowledge with regard to the object. |
