PURPOSE:To make the effect of electric field for a light shielding element more effectively applied to the inside of a substrate by providing an electrode section in a green sheet having a specified thickness comprising powder of material for constituting the substrate of a light shielding element, forming an electrode section by building electrodes in the sheet, and calcining the sheet O2 stream. CONSTITUTION:Powder mixture for a substrate of a light shielding element, an org. binder, and a plasticizer are casted on a polyester sheet to mold a sheet, and a green sheet having a specified thickness is prepd. by natural drying. On one hand, Pt or Pd powder is mixed with powder mixture consisting of Ag and Pd and the mixture is kneaded with a vehicle, and the product is printed on the above described green sheet through a screen to form an electrode pattern and dried. Then, the electrode section is buried in the surface of the green sheet by pressing a flat plate on the sheet provided with the electrode. The product is heated again while supplying oxygen to calcine the product. When an electric voltage is impressed to the electrode section, the electric field is applied effectively to the inside of a PLZT element and necessary driving voltage is reduced. |
