摘要 |
PURPOSE:To remove arsenic efficiently from hydrocarbon oil, by bringing the hydrocarbon oil into contact with a catalyst consisting of nickel oxide and molybdenum oxide supported on a specified compounded oxide carrier in the presence of hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:Hydrocarbon oil is brought into contact with a catalyst consisting of nickel oxide and molybdenum oxide supported on a compounded oxide carrier prepd. by blending oxides selected from among zirconia, magnesia and barium oxide into alumina, under reaction conditions of 200-450 deg.C and 10- 25kg/cm<2> in the presence of hydrogen. The catalyst should pref. consist of 0.5- 20wt% nickel oxide and 0.5-20wt% molybdenum oxide and be supported on a carrier consisting of 20-90wt% alumina, 5-50wt% zirconia and 1-30wt% magnesia.
