PURPOSE:To mold the curved lower side section member of a car body in simple constitution by drawing a thermosetting resin from a preforming die, forming the resin to a predetermined section shape and passing it through and drawing it from a curved finishing molding die while being heated and cured. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber base material 4 is passed in a liquefied thermosetting resin 7 housed in a resin vessel 6, impregnated and drawn from a preforming die 8, and formed to a prescribed section shape coinciding with a protector 3 as the lower side section member for an automobile. The glass fiber base material 4 and the resin 7 are heated by a heater 11 in a curing tank 9 immediately after the base material is discharged from the preforming die 8, drawn so as to pass through a curved finishing molding die 12 while being cured, and formed to a curved shape. The curved material is passed through a drawing device 13, and cut in predetermined length by a cutter 14, and the protector 3 is shaped. |
