PURPOSE:To enable high speed slave motion corresponding with the rotation and to shorten the machining time by employing the turning motion of an eccentric sleeve to roll the spindle in accordance to the shape of master cam at the tip through the motion of spindle. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of a spindle 5, an eccentric sleeve 4 will roll in accordance to the shape of master cam 6 as the master cam 6 rotates because said cam 6 is pressure contacting continuously through a tensile spring 15 and an eccentric sleeve 4 against a cam follower 14. Since the motor 9 for driving the spindle is fixed integrally with said sleeve 4 through a fixed board 8, the distance from the spindle 5 is maintained constant to rotate the spindle 5 reliably thus to grid a cam face corresponding with the shape of master cam 6 onto a work W through rolling of said sleeve 4. Cutting during grinding is performed by moving the cutting table 2 in the perpendicular direction against the axis of spindle. Consequently, it can follow the high speed rotation of master cam.
