<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the whole device by enabling the selection of a paper feeding part by means of the rotating direction of a driving motor and of a drive shut-off member, in the captioned device having two cassette paper feeding parts and a manual paper feeding part. CONSTITUTION:When a driving motor 10 is normally rotated, the rotation of a driving gear 12 is transmitted to an intermediate shaft 18 through an intermediate gear 14 and a one-way clutch 17, and also to a manual paper feeding roller shaft 26 through an intermediate gear 23, manual paper feeding roll gear 24, and a one-way clutch 25 by means of the rotation of the intermediate gear 14, to drive an upper-stage paper feeding roll 5 and a manual paper feeding roll 8. At the time of manual paper feeding operation, a solenoid 33 is energized to swing an operating member 34 upward, making the engaging piece on its end engage with a projecting line on the collar 31 on the outer periphery of a spring clutch 29, to cut off the transmission of power between the intermediate shaft 18 and an intermediate gear 20. On the other hand, when the driving motor 10 is reversed, only a lower-stage paper feeding roll 4 is driven through a one-way clutch 15.</p> |
