PURPOSE:To improve xerographic characteristics by increasing oxygen content of a high-purity Se material. CONSTITUTION:A Se material having a compsn. consisting of 0.6-5ppm oxygen, and residual portion consisting of Se and inevitable impurities is charged to a boat in a vacuum furnace and is deposited in the form of vapor to the surface of an Al photosensitive drum by heating at 300 deg.C in 1X10<-5>Torr vacuum to obtain a photosensitive body having 50mum average layer thickness. The photosensitive body has superior xerographic characteristics such as 1,300-1,600 charged voltage, 0.90-0.95 dark attenuation ratio, 9-10sec sensitivity, 80-130V residual voltage. |
