<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a rewinding state suitable for storage by utilizing a start/ end detecting function to allow the function to execute winding and rewinding. CONSTITUTION:A control program for the rewinding mode is added to a control section 2. Only the scanning system and the start/end detection circuit 11 of a tape 1 are activated in the rewinding mode and building blocks of non-running system for write/read such as a read head 6, a write circuit 6a, a write head 7, a write circuit 7a and an erasure head 8 are inactivated. Through the constitution above, the total length wound around a tape reel is wound once on a winding reel 5 as to the tape 1 and rewound around a supply reel 4 in a continuous constant speed, then the rewinding of the tape 1 is executed.</p> |
