PURPOSE:To simplify a cord reel and reduce the size thereof, by a method wherein a body, forming a containing means for a cord, a rotary drum, and a cover body are formed in an annular shape, a constant-load type spiral spring is used as an energizing means, and the spring is wound around an annular shaft. CONSTITUTION:A titled cord reel has an annular body 1 with an annular shaft 3 having a hollow part at its central part, a constant-load type spiral spring 2 is attached in the body 1 by means of a spring shaft 5, and one end 4 is attached to an annular shaft 3. When a cord is pulled out, the spring shaft 5 is rotated in the direction of an arrow mark 6, and the spring 2 is wound around the annular shaft 3. A rotary drum 16 is engaged with the annular shaft 3 of the body 1, and a spring pin 17, pivotally secured to the spring shaft 5, is mounted to the one surface of the rotary drum 16. A cord 23, provided at the forward end with a plug 24, is capable of being wound around the rotary drum 16, and the cord 23 is capable of being electrically connected with a contact 11 through the force of a contact spring 22. |
