PURPOSE:To repair lower main shaft under separating it from upper main shaft when it is necessary by connecting the lower main shaft detachably to the runner band of lowermost stage runner. CONSTITUTION:In order to dismantle the lowermost stage runner 9 and the lowre main shaft 4 of a two-stage pump water wheel, the connection of connecting part at the water discharging path side of a draft tube 22 is released at first and, subsequently, bolts and nuts 20 are removed sequentially and the integral assembly of the lower main shaft 4, an aerofoil rib 18, a shroud ring 19 and a bearing houing 23 is lowered to the floor surface of a lower pit 27. Subsequently, the bolts 10 are released and the lower stage runner 9 can be transported to the side direction through a side path for work in accordance with necessity. Thus, the repairing work of the lowermost runner 9 may be carried out easily without dismantling lower guide bearing. |
