PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body superior in acceptance potential and photosensitivity by using a vapor deposited film contg. an electrostatic charge generating material and an electron donor dispersed together as a charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating material used here is, e.g., a phthalocyanine type compd. represented by the formula in which R is H, halogen, cyano, or nitro; M is one of Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn, Cr, Ti, Ru, Pd, In, Sn, Sb, Zn, Mg, Ga, Ge, As, Al, Si, Hg, Tl, V, and U; A, B are each halogen or O; and X, Y are each 0 or 1. So long as the charge generating material can be vapor deposited, it is not especially limited to said compds. As said electron donor, condensed polycyclic compds., such as anthracene and phenanthrene, aromatic amines, such as diphenylamine and triphenylamine, and acrylhydrazone derivs., such as 4-dimethylaminobenzylidenebenzohydrazide, are enumerated. It is preferable to use the electron donor and the charge generating material in a molar ratio of 0.1- 10. |
