PURPOSE:To provide durability for high speed rotation by installing an end plate with a cap-shaped fiber layer formed solidly with the end face part and a hollow cylinder part and by constituting the joint part of the end plate with rotaty cylinder from the same fiber layer structure. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 10 made of a fiber reinforced plastic material is constituted by covering the end part of a hollow rotary cylinder 11 with an end plate 12, and inside it an air-tight chamber 13 is formed. This rotary cylinder 11 is formed from an inner 14 and an outer 15 cylinder by consolidating them firmly into a construction composed of two types of reinforcing fiber layers. The end plate 12 is, on the other hand, composed of a cap-shaped inner fiber layer 16 and a reinforcing fiber layer 17 covering the same. The inner fiber layer 16 includes an end face part 16a and a hollow cylindrical part 16b, whereabout the reinforcing fibers stretch from said end face part 16a to hollow cylindrical part 16b continuously. |
