PURPOSE:To improve a mass-producing property by using only one buffer material, by arranging and constituting the titled delay line so that a notch part provided on the buffer material is aligned with an ultrasonic reflecting surface of a delay medium, and the buffer material contacts to an installing position of an unnecessary reflection absorbing material. CONSTITUTION:A glass delay medium 2 is held and inserted by a buffer material 5 installed to the glass delay medium 2 and provided with a notch part 8 whose dimension has been set so that a joint part 9 of the buffer material 5 is aligned with an installing position of an unnecessary reflection absorbing material 3, and it is contained in a containing body 4. The notch part 8 provided on the buffer material 5 corresponds to ultrasonic main path reflecting surfaces 2a, 2b of the glass delay medium 2, and the joint part 9 of the buffer material 5 is in the installing position of the unnecessary reflection absorbing material 3, therefore, the buffer material 5 and the ultrasonic main path surface of the glass delay medium 2 do not contact to each other, a delay time of a signal is stabilized, and an electric characteristic as an ultrasonic delay line is obtained. |
