PURPOSE:To set exactly and easily an intrinsic address of a communication equipment constituting a local area network by assigning the intrinsic address to each communication equipment in response to a request from the communicating equipment constituting a system by an intrinsic address managing device provided on the system. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a frame F1 is sent out to an address managing device NM from a communication equipment TU1. The frame F1 inputted to the address managing device NM from a trnsmission line D is received by a transmission and reception controlling circuit A4N, and an intrinsic address ANM of the own device NM is set to this frame F1, therefore, the information of the frame F1 is decoded by a control code decoder A5N. Also, information REQ is contained in the frame F1, therefore, an intrinsic address assignment is requested to all communication equipment intrinsic address managing parts AIN in the address managing device NM, and an intrinsic address TUX to be assigned to the communication equipment TU1 is generated by using an intrinsic address managing table A2N. Accordingly, thereafter, the communicating equipment TU1 is provided with the intrinsic address TUX, and a communication in the network system is executed by using this intrinsic address TUX. |
