Movement transmission assembly capable of submerged operation

The invention relates to a movement transmission assembly between an input shaft 10 and an output shaft 12 comprising a main casing 2 and a gear mechanism connecting the two shafts together. The main casing 2 contains lubrication oil for a drive member 6 whilst the output shaft 12 passes through the main casing with interposition of a sealing gasket 22, an auxiliary casing 5 containing the gear mechanism and being insulated from the rest of the main casing, and the output shaft 12 passes through the auxiliary casing 5 with sealing 20, the sealing gasket being in communication with the oil of the main casing 2 and being isolated from that of the auxiliary casing 5. One application is the production of motorised multiplication gear for driving a submerged pump. <IMAGE>
