The device used comprises a matrix with two shaping possibilities - one large, and one smaller. The matrix has specific locating surfaces for the plastic mould closure surfaces. On to the matrix can be pivoted a heat cushion in the form of an electrical heating element. A hinge formation joins the heat cushion to the matrix, and comprises a spring which is tensioned when the cushion is located against the matrix. - A lock is located between the heat cushion and the matrix, and is operated by a thermostat. Thus, when the heat cushion is brought downwards into contact with the matrix it is automatically locked against spring effect. The thermostat is set at a suitable temp., and as soon as this heat level is reached the lock device is released, and the heat cushion pivots upwards to its rest position. |
