The invention relates to the use of a liquid (water, etc.), available in sufficient amounts and with sufficient depth, to recover the energy from its pressure or motion and to convert it into mechanical or electrical energy, depending on what is required. A cylindrical or other shaped pipe B descends into a liquid A. The pressure of the liquid at the bottom is broken up by the device 4-4'-5-5' which is partially or totally actuated by the passage of the liquid over the bladed wheel or turbine 3 and by the liquid falling from the top 1 which, on passing, actuates the bladed wheels 2 or suitable turbines.
