Electronic device enabling a blind person to perceive ambient light fluctuations acoustically and thus to find his/her way with confidence. It consists of a photoresistive cell 1 located in the bridge 2 of the spectacles and whose ohmic variations are transmitted to a low-frequency oscillator varying at the same rhythm. This low-frequency oscillator is composed of a coil 3 in two layers produced on an iron core, of an electrochemical condenser 4 of 33 microfarads, of a resistor 5 tending to adjust the audible frequencies of an amplifier transistor 7, of an earpiece 8 and of an extra-flat 1.5 V battery supplying the apparatus. The oscillator is housed in a side 6 of the spectacles which is hollowed out and provided especially to receive all the components thereof. <IMAGE>
