PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a hot-water and water mixing cock body by slidably disposing a valve body portion provided with a connecting hole for connecting a water chamber to a hot-water valve chest. CONSTITUTION:A valve shaft 28 which can be advanced and retreated axially by operating a handle 29 has a valve body portion 32 on one side thereof, which is separated from and brought close to a water valve seat 30 and a hot-water valve seat 31. When the valve shaft 28 is moved to the left by the handle 29, the valve body portion 32 slides to the left to enlarge the opening of a water valve V-1 and reduce the opening of a hot-water valve V-2. On opening a feed valve A in such a condition, the water in a water chamber 16 branches into two to be supplied directly to a mixing chamber 17 and be supplied to a hot-water unit 8.
