<p>PURPOSE:To always keep the distance between a coil and an input board surface roughly constant irrespective of on or off of a pen, and to stabilize an operation by installing the coil to the tip of a stylus of the pen. CONSTITUTION:A detecting coil 6 is installed to the tip of a stylus 2, and an input board surface 7 and the detecting coil 6 can be used in an almost tightly adhering state. When a pen is off, an input coordinate is used as a cursor, and when the pen is turned on at some position, a relative position of the detecting coil and the input board surface is not varied and a correct coordinate can be inputted. Also, when the pen point is inclined by about 30 deg. (theta in the figure) to the vertical direction as shown in the figure and also a signal transfer use coil 8 and 9 are adopted, the stylus can be rotated freely, therefore, the use convenience is improved.</p> |
