At least one connecting element is interposed between an upright and truss, flexurally rigidly joined together at a corner of a wooden structure. This element is a panel (1), secured to an upright (2) and/or a truss, where there is a recess (5) to accommodate it. The panels end face (4) is suitable for moment or force transfer resulting from contact pressure, and acts in conjunction with a corresponding recess end surface (6). The corner joint is held together by clamping force, via one or more detachable fasteners. The panel is pref. a square piece of wood, glued to the upright or truss.
