<p>A processing region-checking system relates to the setting of a region, in which the entry of a movable portion of a machining tool in a numerical control system for controlling the machining tool by a numerical control unit is prohibited. The numerical control unit is adapted to set a region, in which the entry of this movable portion is prohibited, correspondingly to the processing conditions in a series of processing operations. Since the region in which the entry of the movable portion of the machining tool can thus be varied, the setting of such a region can be done finely in accordance with the processing conditions, and the processing space can be expanded. Also, the processing space can be utilized effectively.</p> |
