Perfluoroalkylalkoxycarboxamides of the formula (1) <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes C2-C20-perfluoroalkyl or perfluoroalkoxyperfluoroalkyl, R2 denotes hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl or cyclohexyl, R2 and R3, together with the nitrogen atom, denote a five- or six-membered hydrogenated heterocycle, X and Y denote hydrogen or C1-C6-alkyl and m denotes an integer from 1 to 6, processes for their preparation and their use for oil- and water-repellent finishing of textile material.
