The invention relates to the use of compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> or its tautomeric forms, in which Py is a 2- or 3-pyrrolyl radical which is unsubstituted in position 1 and is substituted in one or more of the remaining three positions optionally by lower alkyl and/or carboxyl or carbalkoxy and/or halogen, R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, and Ph is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one to three, identical or different substituents from the group comprising lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkylsulphinyl, lower alkylsulphonyl, hydroxyl, halogen, trifluoromethyl, nitro, amino or lower alkanoylamino; the salts thereof, especially the therapeutically utilisable salts thereof; the lower alkyl enol ethers or lower alkanoyl enol esters for the treatment of attacks of pain of various origins.
