In its basic embodiment, the installation is comprised of two or more pipes (30, 32) which are concentrically wound, the inner pipes traversing the outer pipes and extending beyond the latter by their ends. Said ends are connected to pipes forming supply and discharge conduits (34, 36). A plurality of concentrically wound pipe groups may be arranged next to each other. Such groups of pipes may be enlarged to form registers. It is possible to carry out numerous types of chemical reactions by making porous said pipes, filling the pipes with catalyst, etc. |
