<p>A system (10) for transmitting data between two units (12, 14) in a full duplex mode over two lines (16, 18) transmits data in one direction in the form of a duobinary dipulse line code format and in the other direction in either a duobinary 100 % duty cycle or a bipolar 100 % duty cycle line code format. Separation of the signals in each unit (12, 14) is by both filtering and canceling. Detection of the duobinary dipulse signal in the data unit (12, 14) receiving it includes demodulation to the baud frequency for improved accuracy.</p> |
