<p>A system for carrying out the judgement of posture of an object part by an image processor faster and more accurately. In this system, combinations of parameters used for judging the posture of a part are determined during the preparations of reference data, and different combinations of parameters are allotted to different types of posture of a part. During a recognition step, an image is processed with respect to the combinations of parameters, which designate different types of posture of a part, to threby judge the posture of an object part at a high speed and with a high accuracy.</p> |
