The cadence measurement apparatus consists of an evaluation apparatus (6) which is connected by means of a supply line (5) to a firing line (2) which is arranged between the gun (1) and the firing apparatus (4). A counting device (7) and an output apparatus (8) are furthermore connected to the evaluation apparatus (6). After operating the firing apparatus (4), a detonating pulse is passed via the firing line (2) both to the projectile detonator and via the junction (3) and the supply line (5) to the evaluation apparatus (6), which processes said pulse electronically. <IMAGE>
