An electric angular resolver for an electric adjustment and control device, such as for example for natural gas, is proposed which has a kick-down trigger and which is intended to be simple in design and easy to assemble while taking into account the requirements placed on it. For this purpose, a signal generator shaft (12) with reciprocal body arranged fixedly thereon is inserted into a pot-shaped signal generator housing (16), the restoring springs which are arranged in the signal generator housing being fixed to the said reciprocal body (21) by one of their ends. The signal generator shaft interacts with a potentiometer (38), additional spring elements (59) being tensioned when a specific rotary angle is reached for the kick-down triggering, the said sprung elements (59) being inserted into a ring wheel (58), attached on the signal generator shaft (12), and pressing with their free end in each case against a ball (61) which is supported in each case against a running face (62) with a ramp (65) in the signal generator housing (16, 63). The angular resolver (10) can be used for motor vehicle drives using electric motors or internal combustion engines to the same degree.
