A pipe piece is pushed into the cylindrical housing, into which pipe piece a circumferential groove is turned, towards the end, a circlip ring being fitted into said circumferential groove. A recess for holding the circlip ring is provided in a cover which fits onto the housing. The cover is screwed onto the housing by means of screws, and the pipe is at the same time firmly connected to the housing. In this way, it is possible to produce a simple and very firm connection of a pipe piece to a cylindrical housing, which connection can be released quickly and can be used advantageously wherever the rotating machine part which is to be driven cannot or must not be connected directly to the drive (for example the motor). <IMAGE>
