PURPOSE:To constitute a thick, compact camera by providing the 1st and the 2nd mirrors and a reflection type focal plate, and switching a photographic optical path and a finder optical path through the switching of the 2nd mirror. CONSTITUTION:The 1st mirror 11, the 2nd mirror 12 which can be switched between an oblique and a vertical position, the reflection type focal plate 13, etc., are provided in the camera body 5. When a photography is taken, image light from the photographic lens 1 is reflected by the 1st mirror 11 and then reflected by the 2nd mirror 12 at the oblique position to travel along photographic optical paths (a), (b), and (c) to a film 2. Further, when the light travels through optical paths (a), (b), (d), and (e), the 2nd mirror 12 is switched to the vertical position. Consequently, the thick, compact camera is constituted because this is an erect image type which reflects the image light twice by the 1st and the 2nd mirrors 11 and 12 to secure necessary optical path length.
