PURPOSE:To manufacture easily and inexpensively a connecting rod by manufacturing separately at least one of a rod part and pad part and connecting said part to the other part by a welding means. CONSTITUTION:A spherical part 1 and a rod part 2 which are united into one construction are produced by a precision lost wax casting method. On the other hand, a gap part 3 is separately manufactured. The part consisting of the spherical part 1 and the rod part 2 provided with the integral construction is placed on the central surface of a steel backing strip of the part 3 after manufacture of each part and the entire circumferential edge end 5 where the part 2 and the pad 3 contact with each other is joined by a welding means of an electron beam to increase considerably the adhesion strength. The desired connecting rod is thus manufactured. |
