PURPOSE:To keep the secrecy of input contents by enabling only an operator to see an input key and also attaining such a structure that can secure the correct input of display contents despite a random shift of the position of the display contents to a touch panel. CONSTITUTION:A cash card is inserted and confirmed by a collator 1, and the CG codes of characters to be displayed are read at random out of a display character data memory 3. These codes are written in order of output data to the addresses of a display screen data memory 8 through a write controller 4. The CG code data written to the memory 8 is delivered by a display controller 12. Then each character is outputted to a display device 6 having a small visual angle by a CG7. The input of the displayed character push down a touch panel 5 on the upper surface of the corresponding character. Then the addresses of X and Y of the displayed character are outputted then the CG codes of the memory 8 are outputted. These CG codes are supplied to a CG code/output data conversion table 9, and the output data is transmitted to a host 11 via a TCE10.
