NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R<1> is amino which may have lower alkyls, hydroxyimino, 1-10C alkanoylamino which may have halogens; R<2> is H, lower alkyl, halogen, nitro; R<3> is H. lower alkyl, halogen; R<4>, R<5> are H, lower alkyl; one of R<2> and R<3> is not H, when R<1> is hydroxyimino). EXAMPLE:7-Hydroxy-4-methyl-1-indanone oxime. USE:Reliever of hypoxia: it removes active oxygen species to prevent the formation of peroxidized lipid and reduces it. PREPARATION:The reaction of a compound of formula II with hydroxylamine of NH2OH is carried out in an inert solvent at room temperature to 200 deg.C for 1-10hr to give a compound of formula III. Then, the product is reduced in the presence of a catalyst such as platinum oxide or palladium at -20 deg.C- room temperature under 1-10 atmospheric hydrogen pressure to give the compound of formula I . |
