An apparatus for propulsion of two separate gas flows (1, 2) in alternating enthalpy exchange through two separate beds (3) of solids comprises two separate chambers (4) enclosing said beds (3) and gas compartments (41). The gas compartments communicate with antechambers (6) for injection and ejection of said gas flows (1, 2) by means of pairs of holes (8j, 8k) pneumatically open or closed by means of hose sections (7j, 7k) extended through said pair of holes, said hose sections groupwise (j, k) periodically inflated/deflated by means of an inflation/deflation device (9). |
