PURPOSE:To produce an inexpensive watch having good quality by sandwiching metallic grains in the joint part between a case and a band then conducting electricity thereto under the pressure exerted to said parts thereby joining securely the joint parts. CONSTITUTION:Pressure is exerted to a band 1 and jigs 4 in the direction of an arrow (a) then electricity is conducted thereto by which electricity is passed from the welding jigs 4, 4' to the band 1. The electric current is thus passed by the circuit of the arrow A-B passing through a case 2 and a jig 5 via metallic grains 3. The grains 3 are melted and are alloyed with the metal of the case 2 and the band 1 by which the case 2 and the band 1 are united to one body. The other parts are kept free from thermal influence and deformation in the stage of joining and therefore the watch has no defects in appearance. |
