<p>PURPOSE:To enable a reliable test equivalent to an actual system by facilitating the tripping of an auxiliary breaker, by connecting an uncharged condenser between the poles of the auxiliary breaker. CONSTITUTION:In an inductive DC test method wherein an auxiliary breaker 8 and a breaker 9 to be tested are arranged in series and the current of a current source is supplied to both breakers and, at the time of tripping, the breakers 8, 9 are opened to apply high DC voltage to the breaker 9, when an uncharged condenser 14 is connected between poles of the breaker 8, the interpole voltage of the breaker 8 at the time of tripping comes to low frequency vibration voltage by the condenser 14. Therefore, a voltage rising ratio du/dt directly after tripping becomes small and the tripping of the breaker 8 is made easy. The condenser 14 does not almost exert effect upon the breaker side and the equivalent test of a high voltage DC breaker equivalent to an actual system and having reliability can be performed.</p> |
