PURPOSE:To improve light responsivity and repetition stability by laminating an intermediate layer contg. a biologen compd., an electrostatic charge generating layer contg. zinc oxide, and a charge transfer layer contg. a positive hole transfer material on a conductive substrate in succession. CONSTITUTION:The present electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by coating a conductive substrate 1 of a metal plate or metal vapor-deposited on paper or a plastic film, with a soln. contg. a biologen compd. represented by the formula (R is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, or aralkyl, and X is halogen) and a binder, such as gelatin, drying it to form an intermediate layer 2, coating the layer 2 with a dispersion fluid contg. zinc oxide, a binder, and a dispersing agent to form a charge generating layer 3, and further, coating the layer 3 with a coating soln. obtained by dissolving a charge transfer material and a binder resin in a solvent, and drying it to form a charge transfer layer 4. |
