PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition capable of giving highly flexible rubbery elastomer of high electrical conductivity which is useful as electromagnetic wave shielding material of good workability, comprising one-pack type room temperature-curable silicone rubber conductive metallic powder and volatile organic compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of a diorganopolysiloxane having hydroxyl groups at the both ends of its molecular chain (B) 0.1-25pts.wt. of an organosilicon compound having in one molecule at least two hydrolyzable groups, (C) 100-900 (pref. 300-600)pts.wt. of conductive metallic powder (e.g. particulate or flaky silver, copper, nickel, etc.) (D) 0.1-50pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of the components (A), (B) plus (C), of a volatile organic compound with a boiling point 20-250 deg.C and (E) 0-5pts.wt. of a curing catalyst. |
