PURPOSE:To form constitution suitable for a VTR with high definition by providing an FM equalizing circuit comprising a transversal filter using a delay line so as to supplement deficiency of boost amount after an output of two video heads is amplified and added. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced output of video heads 2a, 2b is inputted to reproducing amplifiers 10a, 10b and amplified. The resonance characteristic between input capacitors such as capacitors C<5>, C6 of an input section and an inductance L of heads 2a, 2b is set to an optimum value by adjusting the capacitors C5, C6 or the value of a damping resistor in parallel. After outputs of the amplifiers 10a, 10b are added (5), the result is inputted to the FM equalizing circuit 11 comprising the transversal filter using the delay line. Thus, the deficient boost is supplemented to the signal, sufficient FM is applied and the result is transmitted to an FM demodulation circuit. |
