PURPOSE:To improve the processing capacity of a terminal by selecting an interactive or non-interactive processing modes in response to a TSS command. CONSTITUTION:A TSS command sent from a terminal 1 is received by a TSS command reception part 2, and a TSS command decoding part 3 checks both the TSS command name and the TSS command parameter. When the TSS command requests an interactive processing mode, a command executing part 8 gives the foreground processing to a TSS command program and then processes the TSS command. If the received TSS command requests a non-interactive processing mode, a TSS command register part 4 stores the TSS command to a memory part 6. Then a non-interactive request register part 5 registers a job control word corresponding to the TSS command to a job queue within a memory part 7.
