PURPOSE:To synthesize a complicated and fine picture with a simple operation by segmenting a picture for each point on a screen indicated by a cursor and synthesizing those segmented pictures with a background picture on a background picture memory. CONSTITUTION:A picture memory (b) stores a fine branches and leaves of a tree, i.e., an original picture. This tree is segmented and synthesized with a background picture, i.e., a background picture memory (a). In this case, a picture input means (c) is used to feed a certain coordinate point P of the tree. Then the color information, i.e., the tree color corresponding to a point P of the memory (b) is extracted through the processing of a microprocessor. Thus the synthesization is carried out to the memory (a) from the memory (b). This synthesizing process is repeated and a coordinate point is supplied as if the upper part of the tree were traced by the means (c). Thus the tree is synthesized with the background picture. |
